The armrests of the MÖVE seats are usually attached to the metal structure of the backrest frame with armrest bolts or an attachment flange with an armrest socket.
They are hinged and the inclination can be set steplessly by means of knurled nuts. When folded upwards, the armrests remain in position without locking devices. Armrests in different lengths and widths are available; they have upholstery made of PUR soft foam and can be covered either in the same material as the upper seat part or with a dirt-resistant artificial leather. Armrests made of PUR integral foam round off this program.
According to the latest regulations of the UIC612, armrests that are attached below the seat cushion can also be tendered. The pivot point for folding away the armrests (backwards) is also located below the seat surface.
Armrest standard
Upholstered model with a surface covered in material or leather. Model like the upholstery of the seat surface and backrest. Available in the lengths 300mm, 345mm and 395mm and the widths 50(60)mm, 80(90)mm and 110(120)mm [dimensions in brackets for models with higher fire protection features thanks to additional fire blocker]. These armrests can be folded up and their inclination adjusted by means of a knurled nut conveniently placed on the lower side of the armrest.
Armrest PUR integral foam
If there are no special fire protection requirements, armrests made of PUR integral foam can be used. These armrests can be folded up and their inclination adjusted; they are 315mm long and approx. 60 mm wide. The inclination is set by means of a knurled nut conveniently placed on the lower side of the armrest.
Armrest UIC612
Special requirements based on the latest regulations of the UIC612 can also be satisfied by MÖVE armrests. These armrests are attached below the seat cushion. The pivot point for folding away the armrests (backwards) is also located below the seat surface. These armrests can be adjusted in terms of their height (80mm) and also their inclination (±5°). The upholstery material comprises silicone foam that is covered with either artificial or real leather. The total length of the armrest is 250mm and the width 70mm.
Armrest with control buttons
MÖVE can also supply special armrest models designed in-house. Control buttons for various functions can be placed conveniently in a special armrest extension and the electrical wires are fitted through the armrest element so that they can be connected to the various vehicle systems and the respective control functions can be guaranteed.
