Seat cushions of the MÖVE seats are designed as a compact unit comprising a seat plate with attached upholstery and covering material.
The seat plate holds various mechanical adjustment units and control levers, it forms the interfaces between the holders and attachment of the backrest and the attachment to the seat bases or adapters, and therefore plays a role in maintaining the stability and strength of the seat.
Standard seat cushion
On MÖVE seats, the length adjustment units are attached on the lower side of the seat cushion. The rails of the seat length adjustment are arranged below the seat upper part. The total adjustment path is 190 (+160/-30 mm) or 160 (+100/-60 mm) mm, in steps of 10 mm respectively. Lifting the activation lever located in front of the seat cushion releases the length setting locks on both sides of the seat. Locking is automatic after the handle is released. At the customer’s request, the setting ranges can be limited in steps of 10mm.
The upholstery structure, cover attachment and assembly are identical in all seat cushion variants depending on the respective customer requirements.
Seat cushion with inclination setting
In MÖVE seats, the mechanics of the inclination setting are held by special elements in the seat plate itself and also by their connection and assembly to the various length adjustment rails. The activation levers can be positioned on the right, left or at the front of the seat plate. Functions and adjustment paths of the length adjustment rails are also unchanged, as is the way they are operated. The rails of the seat length adjustment are arranged below the seat cushion and are an integral part of the inclination setting.
The inclination adjustment unit allows the inclination of the entire upper seat part (synchronous setting) to be adjusted about 5° backwards from the basic inclination of the seat surface. Using additional wedge adapters it is possible to adapt the basic inclination of the upper seat part to the special conditions inside the driver’s cab. Wedge adapters are available in 4° and 8° models. This means that the basic inclination can be pre-positioned to 1° (almost vertical) or -3° (tilting slightly forward).

Seat cushion with depth adjustment
In MÖVE seats, the mechanics of the seat cushion depth adjustment are held by means of special construction elements in the seat plate. Functions and adjustment paths of the length adjustment rails are also unchanged, as is the way they are operated. The rails of the seat length adjustment are arranged below the seat cushion and are an integral part of the inclination setting.
The seat cushion depth adjustment installed in the front area of the seat cushion allows the seat depth to be enlarged by 50 (40)mm in steps of 5mm [dimensions in brackets for models with higher fire protection features thanks to additional fire blocker]. The respective position is locked in a force-fitting manner.
